Sensory exploration, regulation and wellbeing

STIMUL combines visual, auditory, tactile, proprioceptive and olfactory experiences to create a versatile multisensory environment for exploration, relaxation, emotional regulation and wellbeing.

Its combination of a SenSit® sensory chair, water bubble column, fibre optics, image projection, ambient lighting, UV resources, sound, tactile materials and aromatherapy provides different ways of experiencing and interacting with the sensory environment.

Light, colour and projection

The 175 cm water bubble column combines water, bubbles and RGBW lighting. A 100 × 120 cm mirror enhances the visual effect and extends the perception of movement, light and colour.

The Solar 80 LED projector with 60 mm lens includes three different projection resources: the Rainbow Dream liquid disc, the Tropical Fish image disc and a blank disc for creating personalised content.

A bundle of 100 fibre optic strands measuring 2 m provides a close-up visual and tactile experience with an RGBW light source.

The Colour Cloud panel and two 2 m RGB LED ambient lights add further possibilities for creating different lighting environments.

UV light and fluorescent resources

An 8 × 3 W UV blacklight LED bar creates an environment for exploring fluorescent materials.

The equipment includes 2 m each of orange, blue, green and yellow fluorescent cord, together with a multicolour UV spiral.

Proprioception, touch and manipulation

The SenSit® sensory chair provides a comfortable space for proprioceptive sensory experiences.

A set of tactile discs and 20 sensory balls complement the room with resources for tactile exploration, manipulation and sensory activities.

Sound and aromatherapy

A LynxPro RX-10 portable sound system provides the auditory component of the room and allows music and other audio content to accompany sensory activities.

An Aarhus RGB USB nebulising diffuser adds an olfactory dimension, with four 10 ml essential oils included: lavender, basil, lemon and rose geranium.

Control of the environment

The bubble column and fibre optic RGBW light source incorporate SENTS integration and can also operate autonomously.

The STIMUL configuration includes an RF remote control system with six 230 V plug-in receivers for switching compatible electrical equipment on and off remotely.
