An essential multisensory environment, ready to enjoy

ESSENTIA brings together light, colour, bubbles, fibre optics, projection, sound and tactile resources in a balanced pre-designed multisensory room.

Its equipment has been selected to create a varied sensory environment without having to choose and combine each resource individually. The result is a coordinated solution for sensory exploration, stimulation, relaxation and wellbeing.

Light, colour and projection

The 175 cm water bubble column combines water, bubbles and RGBW lighting. A 60 × 120 cm mirror enhances its visual effect and extends the perception of movement, light and colour.

A bundle of 100 fibre optic strands measuring 2 m provides a close-up visual and tactile experience with an RGBW light source.

The Aura projector includes a liquid disc that creates moving shapes and colours, complemented by the Tropical Fish image disc for a second projection experience.

A 2 m RGB LED ambient light makes it possible to modify the colour atmosphere of the room.

UV light and fluorescent resources

An 8 × 3 W UV blacklight LED bar provides a dedicated environment for exploring fluorescent materials.

The equipment includes 1 m each of orange, blue, green and yellow fluorescent cord, together with a multicolour UV spiral.

Touch, manipulation and sound

ESSENTIA includes a varied selection of resources for tactile exploration and manipulation: a set of tactile discs, 20 sensory balls, 4 Baby balls, a velvet rattle ball and 7 reflective sensory balls with sound.

A Seagull mobile adds another visual element, while the LynxPro RX-10 portable sound system provides music and other audio content to accompany sensory activities.

Control of the environment

The bubble column and fibre optic RGBW light source incorporate SENTS integration and can also operate autonomously.

The ESSENTIA configuration includes an RF remote control system with four 230 V plug-in receivers for switching compatible electrical equipment on and off remotely.
