A multisensory environment especially suited to older people, combining calm, bodily comfort, memory, sensory exploration and accessible activities in a welcoming and easy-to-use setting.

SENIOR brings together a carefully selected range of visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory and proprioceptive resources. Its configuration makes it possible to create relaxing environments and to organise activities adapted to each person’s abilities, preferences and pace.

The calming armchair, proprioceptive blanket and lap blanket provide different forms of bodily comfort and sensory regulation. Memory games, tactile elements and manipulation activities encourage attention, exploration and active participation.

Calm, memory and sensory exploration

The fibre optics, bubble tube, projected effects and ambient lighting create an enveloping visual setting that can be adjusted to different moments and activities. The customisable AURA projector disc can incorporate familiar or personally meaningful images, making it especially useful for reminiscence activities.

The memory games, tactile discs and manipulation elements offer simple and accessible opportunities to explore sounds, weights, textures, shapes and movement. Together with the proprioceptive resources, they help create sessions centred on well-being, attention, personal preferences and meaningful participation.
