Sound, bodily experience and active participation

EMINENT combines Bose Professional sound, vibroacoustic stimulation, deep-pressure resources and a broad range of visual, tactile and olfactory experiences in a multisensory environment designed for immersion, regulation and active participation.

Its configuration gives particular importance to the way sound and vibration are experienced through the body, while the SenSit®, Ball Blanket®, interactive bubble column and extensive selection of lighting and projection resources provide different possibilities for comfort, exploration and interaction.

Sound and vibroacoustic experience

The Bose Professional audio system uses two dedicated amplifiers with different functions.

A Veritas 2160BL 2 × 160 W amplifier drives the vibroacoustic system, transmitting vibration through the water mattress so that music can be perceived through the body as well as heard.

A separate Veritas 1100BH 1 × 100 W 70/100 V amplifier drives a pair of Bose FreeSpace FS4SE loudspeakers for ambient sound reproduction.

Proprioception, deep pressure and comfort

A SenSit® sensory chair with SenSit® Puff footrest provides a comfortable space for proprioceptive sensory experiences.

The 140 × 200 cm, 7 kg Ball Blanket® Classic offers an additional deep-pressure resource, complementing the bodily experience provided by the SenSit® and vibroacoustic water bed.

Light, colour and projection

The Solar 80 LED projector with 60 mm lens includes four projection resources: the Rainbow Dream liquid disc, Tropical Fish and Weather image discs, and a blank disc for creating personalised content.

An Aurora and Stars projector adds another moving visual effect.

A bundle of 100 fibre optic strands measuring 2 m provides a close-up visual and tactile experience with an RGBW light source.

Four 2 m RGB LED ambient lights and the Colour Cloud panel provide further possibilities for transforming the visual atmosphere of the room.

An interactive bubble column

The 175 cm water bubble column combines water, bubbles, RGBW lighting and an additional moving-ball effect.

A four-button user remote allows direct interaction with the bubble column, adding opportunities for choice, participation and cause-and-effect activities.

A 100 × 120 cm mirror enhances the visual presence of the column and extends the perception of movement, light and colour.

UV light, touch and aromatherapy

Two 8 × 3 W UV blacklight LED bars provide an environment for exploring fluorescent materials. The equipment includes 2 m each of orange, blue, green and yellow fluorescent cord, together with a multicolour UV spiral.

A set of tactile discs and 20 sensory balls provide additional resources for tactile exploration and manipulation.

An Aarhus RGB USB nebulising diffuser adds an olfactory dimension, with four 10 ml essential oils included: lavender, basil, orange and rosemary.

Control of the environment

The bubble column and fibre optic RGBW light source incorporate SENTS integration and can also operate autonomously. The four-button remote enables direct user interaction with the bubble column.

The EMINENT configuration also includes an RF remote control system with seven 230 V plug-in receivers for switching compatible electrical equipment on and off remotely.
