OMNIA multisensory room

A comprehensive multisensory environment combining visual, auditory, vibroacoustic, tactile, proprioceptive and olfactory experiences in a coordinated space.

OMNIA is a pre-designed multisensory room conceived to create different environments for stimulation, exploration, relaxation and wellbeing. Its resources have been selected to work together and offer a broad range of sensory experiences that can be adapted to different people, activities and moments.

Sound and vibroacoustic experience

The ECLER sound system combines Bluetooth connectivity, wall-mounted mixing and amplification with four two-way loudspeakers distributed throughout the room.

Sound is complemented by a vibroacoustic water bed. Its base transmits vibrations from the sound system through the water mattress, combining music listening with the bodily perception of vibration.

A SenSit® sensory chair provides an additional space for comfortable seating and proprioceptive experience.

Light, colour and projection

OMNIA offers several complementary forms of visual stimulation.

The Solar 80 LED projector, equipped with a 60 mm lens, includes the Rainbow Dream liquid disc, the Tropical Fish image disc and a blank disc for creating personalised projection content.

A separate LED wave-effect projector creates moving light effects, while 100 fibre optic strands measuring 2 m provide a close-up visual and tactile experience with an RGBW light source.

The 175 cm water bubble column combines water, bubbles and RGBW lighting, with a 100 × 120 cm mirror enhancing its visual presence.

The room also incorporates a Colour Cloud panel, a sensory chill-out cube and two 2 m RGB LED ambient lights.

UV light and fluorescent resources

An 8 × 3 W UV blacklight LED bar makes it possible to explore fluorescent materials in a darkened environment.

The equipment includes 2 m each of orange, blue, green and yellow fluorescent cord, together with a multicolour UV spiral.

Tactile and sensory exploration

OMNIA includes a set of tactile discs, 20 sensory balls and 7 reflective sensory balls with sound, providing resources for tactile exploration, manipulation, visual attention and sound-based activities.

Aromatherapy

An Aarhus RGB USB nebulising diffuser adds an olfactory dimension to the room.

Four 10 ml essential oils are included: lavender, basil, lemon and rose geranium.

Control of the environment

The bubble column and fibre optic RGBW light source incorporate SENTS integration and can also operate autonomously.

The OMNIA configuration includes an RF remote control system with six 230 V plug-in receivers for switching compatible electrical equipment on and off remotely.
