The natural complement to SenSit®

Protac SenSit® Puff is a sensory footrest designed to be used with both SenSit® and SenSit® Straight.

Placed in front of the chair, it supports and elevates the legs while extending tactile and proprioceptive stimulation to the feet and lower limbs. The manufacturer recommends using the SenSit® chair and Puff together.

It is therefore much more than a conventional footrest: its filling responds to pressure and movement and forms part of the sensory experience provided by the chair.

SenSit® Puff is approximately 40 cm high and combines two fillings with complementary functions:

• the upper layer contains 50 mm EVA balls, whose pressure and movement provide tactile and proprioceptive input;
• the lower part contains polypropylene granulate, making the footrest mouldable and allowing it to adapt to the user.

This combination provides comfortable support for the feet while maintaining the dynamic sensory characteristics of the SenSit® family.

The same SenSit® Puff is the optional footrest for both sensory chairs:

It can therefore remain part of the equipment even when different SenSit® chairs are used within the same sensory, therapeutic, educational or care environment.

Five colours to match your SenSit®

SenSit® Puff is available in five colours:

• Off White
• Aqua
• Lime
• Dusty Green
• Dark Grey

This makes it possible to coordinate the footrest with the colour of the SenSit® chair.

Also a sensory seat

Although its main function is as a footrest, SenSit® Puff can also be used independently as a small sensory seat or stool.

Its oval, mouldable shape allows different sitting positions, while the balls provide sensory input through pressure and movement.

This secondary function can be particularly useful in therapy and education. A therapist, educator or caregiver can, for example, sit close to a person using a SenSit® chair without needing another conventional chair.

Cleaning and maintenance

The frequency of cleaning depends on use. Always follow the care label supplied with the product.

The cover can be machine washed in a machine with a minimum capacity of 7 kg.

The inner bag containing the granulate and balls cannot be washed.

Do not use stain remover or detergents containing bleach or perfume.

For routine cleaning, the footrest can be wiped with a damp cloth or suitable disinfectant wipes.

With use, the granulate may settle and form a depression. Turn the footrest upside down occasionally and shake it gently to aerate and redistribute the granulate and restore its shape.
