A sensory chair made for children

Protac SenSit® Junior brings the enveloping sensory experience of the SenSit® chair into dimensions specifically designed for children aged approximately 3–10 years.

The child can sit inside it, surround the body with its four flexible wings and find a comfortable level of sensory stimulation for resting, calming down, concentrating or simply taking a break.

Deep and dynamic sensory input

Sensory balls in the seat, back and four wings move in response to the child's body. This provides deep, dynamic point pressure and stimulates both the tactile and proprioceptive senses.

This sensory input can support:

• awareness of the body and its boundaries
• a sense of security and containment
• sensory regulation and calm
• concentration and participation
• comfortable periods of rest

Designed to encourage self-regulation

An important feature of SenSit® Junior is its child-sized design.

Children can get into and out of the chair independently and can move and position the four wings themselves. This allows the child to actively adjust the amount and location of sensory input according to individual preferences and needs.

The back height is 65 cm.

Complete it with the Junior footrest

The optional SenSit® Junior Puff is the matching footrest developed for the Junior chair.

It supports the feet and legs and helps create a more complete resting and sensory position.

SenSit® Junior and SenSit® Junior Puff are sold separately, so the chair can be used on its own or completed with the footrest according to each child's needs.
