P== Calming sensory stimulation while resting or sleeping ==

BallBase® transforms an ordinary bed into a whole-body sensory space. The 50 mm EVA balls move beneath the body and create varying pressure that provides dynamic tactile and proprioceptive sensory input.

This stimulation can help the user become more aware of their body, settle down and experience greater security and calm.

Sleep on it — or use it during the day

BallBase® is placed on top of an ordinary mattress. Its 90 × 200 cm size makes it particularly suitable for single beds, care beds and hospital beds.

It can be used:

• during sleep
• for daytime rest and relaxation
• in sensory and calming spaces
• during conversation or supportive interventions
• during massage or other activities carried out while lying down

It is suitable for children, young people, adults and older people and can be used in homes, schools, care facilities, hospitals and other professional environments.

Two different sensations

The mattress pad has a soft side and an extra-soft padded side. Turning it over therefore changes the way the balls and their movement are perceived, allowing the sensory experience to be adapted to the individual.

Dynamic sensory input

This version incorporates 50 mm EVA balls. Their movement and varying pressure provide dynamic sensory stimulation across the body.

The balls are distributed in compartments containing removable ball bags.

A dedicated BallBase® incontinence cover with taped seams is available separately. It protects the mattress pad against moisture while retaining a soft, breathable surface.
