Deep pressure you can wear

Protac SensOn® is a sensory shoulder wrap designed to rest naturally around the neck, shoulders and upper chest. Its weight and the distribution of the filling provide clearly perceptible sensory input to this area of the body.

The 15 mm EVA balls move inside separate compartments and generate dynamic, localised pressure. This provides tactile and proprioceptive stimulation and can support greater awareness of the upper body.

Its enveloping sensation can be compared to a pair of calm, firm hands resting on the shoulders.

Put it on and carry on with your activity

SensOn® does not need to be fastened to the body. It is simply placed over the shoulders like a short cape, making it quick and easy to put on and remove.

For correct positioning, the white reference line should be centred at the back of the neck.

Its design allows SensOn® to be used not only for relaxation, but also during many everyday activities:

• while sitting, reading or working;
• during cognitive and learning activities;
• during meals;
• in activities of daily living;
• during light physical activity;
• in relaxation and sensory-regulation activities;
• in a wheelchair or a chair with a high backrest.

This makes it possible to incorporate deep pressure and proprioceptive input into everyday activities without significantly restricting movement.

SensOn® can be used in educational, therapeutic, occupational, residential and home environments.

Choose the right size

SensOn® is available in four sizes. For XS, S and M/L, the user's usual European clothing size can be used as a guide.

J — Junior

• Weight: 1.0 kg.
• Colour: black.

XS

• European clothing size: 34–36.
• Weight: 1.5 kg.
• Colour: light grey.

S

• European clothing size: 38–42.
• Weight: 1.7 kg.
• Colour: black.

M/L

• European clothing size: 44–56.
• Weight: 2.0 kg.
• Colour: light grey.

The weight is distributed around the neck, shoulders and upper chest rather than concentrated at a single point.

Construction and materials

Main characteristics:

• Filling: 15 mm EVA balls.
• Balls distributed in sewn compartments.
• Fabric: 88% cotton, 9% polyester and 3% elastane.
• Four sizes: J, XS, S and M/L.
• For indoor use.
• Class I medical device with CE marking in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

Cleaning and maintenance

SensOn® can be machine washed at up to 40 °C following the care instructions and using the supplied laundry bag.

It is advisable to shake the shoulder wrap regularly to redistribute the balls evenly inside the compartments.

Do not use stain removers. Allow the product to dry completely before using it again.

Important

SensOn® must not be used by people with pressure ulcers or at risk of developing pressure ulcers.

Do not use the product for children under 3 years of age, as it contains small parts.

Do not heat SensOn® in a microwave or any other heating appliance and keep it away from open flames and other heat sources.
